Sorry it took so long, but here is an update!

It's been a while since I was on and now that I know people actually read this to check in on us, I will try to update more often. :P

As everyone probably knows SUGAR AND SPICE AND EVERYTHING NICE...IT'S A GIRL!!! I am so overly excited about it! We, well I found out the sex on Dec 3, Sean unfortunately was not there. The Dr. was running really late that day so Sean had to take Lewis to catch the bus for school and missed the show. We were supposed to find out the sex of the baby on Nov.11 but she was feeling very modest that day and would not uncross her legs for anything. The ultrasound tech gave me a little glimpse of hope and said "she thought it was a girl but could not tell for sure". So the next time we went in I begged the Dr. for another ultrasound to find out the sex and since he couldn't find her heartbeat he let me have another one. The tech saw 3 little lines and said "yup it's a girl!"

We have settled on a name for her, one that not a lot of people like but Sean and I love it, plus it's one that we could agree on. Her name will be Inara Josephine "Joey". Alex calls her "Baby Girl".

Sean is doing good he's been really busy at work with it being the holidays, we are so happy they are over now so he will be home a little more. He's not to happy about having a little girl he was hoping for a boy and to create his only little Sean look-a-like army. He keeps saying "Great now I need to save up for a shotgun!" Joey will have her Daddy wrapped around her little finger in no time! He is a sucker for Alex and I fear he will give into a baby girl even more!:)

The boys are doing great. Lewis got his report card a couple of weeks ago and did amazing when I went into talk to his teacher she told me that "he can talk and listen at the same time!!!" Who knew!! But really they were testing the kids in his class and Lewis was the only his class to get them right. It was on trapezoids and hexagons and making graphs. His teacher said he is probably the smartest kid in the class and that he gets along with everyone! She has even started sending home 1st and 2nd grade words for him to learn. His best friend in the class in a kid named Reagan who is deaf, Lewis has been working on sign language so he talk to him without the teacher knowing. I am so proud of him!

But my most proudest moment in motherhood happened one night in Nov. we went to Lewis's school for a music program. When Lewis's class came out and the music started they were supposed to be standing still but Lewis was up there moving and grooving to the music like no one was watching. He looked something like a young Forest Gump with all this grooving while the others stood still. Then during the middle of the next song he must have decided that the booger in his nose just could not wait any longer and had to be picked just then! So in went the thumb to dig it out, there was not a more proud mother in that room of 300-400 parents/grandparents than me! I couldn't stop laughing that was my Lewis in all his glory...

Alex is still just Alex a mini monster. He loved Christmas, his favorite part was driving around to look at lights, and would get excited every night when we would plug the tree in. The green lights were his favorite. He talks so much now and at times it is hard to stop him. He got a movie for Christmas and has watched it at least 2x's a day since. I can only stand so much Wow Wow Wubbzy. And now he goes around the house shaking his little body around saying "wubbzy wiggle, wubbzy wiggle" he's a goofball.

I am doing good and loving pregnancy, this one is not as hard as the boys were. And now that my foot and leg no longer hurt I am as happy as can be! That leg and foot pain was by far the worse pain I have ever been in and hope I never go threw it again. I show a lot more with "Baby Girl" then I ever did with the boys and I'm only at 27 weeks. Only 13 more to go! We went to Walmart today and I got so excited because they have started bringing the spring clothes out!!! I had to buy her 2 outfits today because of it, one of them is so dang cute, its yellow with a black and white jumper with bumble bees on it. What can I say I am on cloud 9 with getting my wish come true of getting a girl! I never really thought it would happen... :)

L-A-Z-Y!!!!!!

Okay I know I have been extremely lazy lately, and have been in the mood to do anything. But here is an update on the family, and everything that's going on.
At the beginning of Sept. I some how hurt my sciatic nerve and have been in constant pain since I tried going to the chiropractor but my doc advised against it since the pain goes all the way to my toes. So needless to say I've been miserable. I have to wait until at least my 3rd trimester before the doctors can even start looking at just what the problem is. I had a Dr appt on Oct 1st it wasn't the greatest, I was informed there is something wrong with my thyroid and now I'm on meds. Then they couldn't get a heartbeat on the baby so they rushed me in for an ultrasound and the boys and I got to see "baby sausage links" Lewis loved seeing the baby. Once we got the heartbeat and got to see the baby with a 3-d ultrasound I felt much better. We find out the sex of the baby on Nov, 11. Right now I'm 16 weeks along.
Sean is still working like crazy and still running both Gamestops here in town. It seems like work and video games are all he does anymore. lol
Lewis still loves school. I made him stay home yesterday and he cried cause he didn't want to miss anything. He says there are kids in his class that make fun of him because theres a lot of girls that want to hold his hand when they are playing. (what a little stud) He also has lost tooth #2 I caught this one and didn't let it get away like the last.
Alex is still being Alex he's a little devil always destroying stuff. And is a miniature Sean in every way. His speaking is still improving. Today I took him to the local pumpkin patch and picked out some pumpkins he loves pulling the wagon. At the end of this month the boys will be having their birthdays it's so hard to believe they are getting so big. Lewis is will be 6 and Baby Alex will no longer be a baby he will he 3. Now just if i could break Sean's bad habit of calling Alex "Baby".lol

For Starters...

Just a quick update! We had a lot of stuff go on in the month of August in our little family.
At the beginning of August (Aug 7th) we found out that we have another little one on the way! We are happy! Sean is hoping for another mini me just like Alex. I just hoping that its a girl I can't do another boy! I go to the Dr.'s on Thursday and will find out my exact due date, its going to be the first part of April. I've already had one ultrasound and everything looked good, I got to hear the heartbeat. (what a great sound!)
Our little Lewis who is not so little had his first day of school today. And Lewis being Lewis got into trouble on the first day and has to sit in for part of recess tomorrow. He didn't hear the bell to come in for recess and stayed outside playing til the teacher went out to get him. hehe Listening has never been one of his strong points. He has also lost his first tooth and when I say lost I mean LOST it we believe that he swallowed it. But he left the Tooth Fairy a note telling her how he lost it and that he was sorry, so she left him $2! (we agreed to do the Tooth Fairy but not Santa weird I know!)
Alex is Alex! Talking A LOT he had finished the infant/toddler program is doing great. His favorite thing to do is tell stranger "Bison poop!"(thanks again Jas) And the potty training is going great, we hope to have him done by his 3rd birthday.
And now for Sean he is doing good he had surgery on his knee and no longer walks with a cane. He left for Las Vegas on the 30th (my b-day & our anniversary) but will be back in a few days. We miss him.

Thanks for reading...

Amy
